Texas bans UDPs!

In a bold move from the Longhorn state (warning, this site is full of penis puns),

Texas bans and imposes a $500 fine for sending UDPs.

According to THE GUARDIAN,

This bill is a positive step in acknowledging the seriousness of online sexual harassment. While some people see sending a UDP as "no big deal", the reality it is harassment and can cause emotional distress in the receiver. I personally have has unsolicited dick pics sent to me by the same person from different accounts. When I blocked the sicko on one account he would just start another one and send me yet another UDP or worse a video.

This has happened from more than one person.

Lets see if other states follow suit and if a lawyer takes up this cause for women everywhere to feel safe online.
